Norse Hall Milonga Drop In Class from 7:30 to 8:30

We're excited to announce a change in Format, The Norse Hall Milonga will now be offering an inclusive all level tango fundamentals drop in class every Thursday for $10 from 7:30 to 8:30. Glykeria Manis will be our wonderful instructor, you can check out her other classes offered at her website.

Dancing will begin at 8:30 and continue to midnight for $10. We will also continue our early bird discount of $8 from 8:30 to 9:00pm.

Redwood Tango Ensemble Plays Norse Hall May 21st Performance by Cristian Sierra & Jeanine VanSise

We have the special privilege to host Redwood Tango Orchestra on Thursday, May 21st. They will be playing two sets on the main stage. 

Special guest performances by Cristian Sierra & Jeanine VanSise. 

In order to fit in so much tango into one night we will be extending the milonga hours to 1:00am.

About Redwood Tango Ensemble:

Redwood Tango Ensemble is an energetic Argentine tango sextet from San Francisco, California. The ensemble plays traditional and modern tango music in the styles of Anibal Troilo, Juan D'Arienzo, Carlos Di Sarli, and Osvaldo Pugliese. The sextet is dedicated to the art of live music for milongas (social dances), which has made them popular among the dance communities in the Bay Area and on tour. Their signature is a growing repertoire of original tangos written in the style of the classic orchestras, entirely danceable, but singular and alive.
